What are we looking for?

Crunch enterprises are generally new or in establishment phase so we do not expect you to have a completed business plan – this is what The Crunch is all about.

Generally, we want to know that applicants can demonstrate to us, through some preliminary research and analysis that their social enterprise idea:

  • Will generate social benefit; and
  • Has a high likelihood of being commercially viable - that you have a market, a good idea of your costs and can demonstrate that the likely income is greater than these costs.

Important to remember is that The Crunch is an investment not a grant. We need to feel confident that any support that is provided has a high likelihood of contributing to a sustainable,  viable enterprise that delivers social/environmental impact.
